The Charleston Challenge makes a strong comeback this year and offers you a weekend of intensive Charleston the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of March 2007. You will dive right into the Twenties and Thirties to live the Charleston experience, solo or in pair. Ten completely crazy workshops await you! The great swing schools of Montreal, Studio 88-SWING, Cat's Corner and Swing ConneXion have many surprises in store for you!

Enter in the jam and learn The Charleston Challenge with Aidan Fisher. Inspired by the fabulous Steven Mitchell, Aidan has created a choreography, The Charleston Challenge, intensively filled with Charleston solo, on the original swing hymn by Count Basie, Jumpin' at the Woodside. The Charleston solo will have no more secrets for you. A bundle of pure joy!

Discover all the "personalities" of the Charleston. Ann Mony, Carl Nelson and Alain Wong, from the downtown swing school Cat's Corner, will dazzle you. Annie Trudeau, Artistic Director of the Swinging Air Force troupe and Canadian solo and team Charleston Champion will make you discover the Charleston in all its subtleties. Aidan Fisher, member of the Swinging Air Force troupe and teacher at the Studio 88-SWING will show you a range of amazing moves. Evita Arce, professor and choreographer at the Dance Manhattan Studio in New York and member of the Swing Un-LTD troupe will share with you her great passion and expertise in Charleston. Alongside these highly skilled dance teachers, to only name a few, you will broaden your Charleston movement repertoire, you will tame that fast music and you will discover the Charleston as being an exciting and amazing dance.
